Steve Glaros Named 2026 Honorary Mayor of East Hillsborough
Congratulations to Steve Glaros (Glaros Law) on being named the 2026 Honorary Mayor of East Hillsborough! Through incredible community support, dedication, and an inspiring fundraising campaign, Steve earned this year's title while setting a new all-time fundraising record by raising an astonishing $121,746.56 for his selected charities: Impact, Raining Cats and Dogs, and High5, Inc.
We also extend our congratulations to Chris Ciulla (Voodoo Brewing Co. - Valrico), who made history as the first-ever Deputy Mayor of East Hillsborough. Chris's outstanding campaign raised an incredible $47,897.43, making a tremendous impact for the local charities he championed: ECHO and Forgotten Angels
Together, our two candidates raised an extraordinary $169,643.99.
Their efforts, along with the generosity of our community, will leave a lasting impact on organizations serving East Hillsborough.
The Honorary Mayor’s Race of East Hillsborough, supported by the Valrico FishHawk Chamber of Commerce, is a non-political competition where candidates campaign to raise funds for their chosen charities or nonprofits.
Throughout the campaign, candidates engage in different fundraising events, community outreach activities, and networking opportunities to garner support for their cause. The candidate that raises the most money becomes the Honorary Mayor for the year.
